Painting my fall decor the other day really had me feeling the season, and I just couldn’t help myself. I knew I needed to add a little something extra to our home. That’s when I decided to try my hand at making a little fall hand lettering printable. My artistic skills are pretty limited, but I have recently fallen in love with hand lettering and thought it would add just the right touch to our fall decor.
Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
Three simple words that I really should leave up in my house year round, but for some reason, the fall season really drives the spirit of thankfulness to the forefront.
And making this art really helped me get things back in perspective. Life has been a little stressful around our house because we have a lot of big changes headed our way. Nothing I can officially report yet, but soon. Anyways, with these changes came a lot of stress, which sometimes pushes thankfulness to the back of my mind.
But when I was working on this piece, I kept writing these simple words over and over and it almost became a chant in my head.
Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
It was such a gentle reminder that despite everything we have going on right now, no matter how scary or nerve-wracking it might be, we still have so much to be thankful for.
Now every time I look at this sign I get to be reminded all over again.
And because I have come to love this simple fall sign so much I wanted to share it with you guys as well! Make sure to grab your free copy here and have a little reminder in your own home!
How are you adding touches of fall to your home?
